If those two famous franchises can do it, why not the Cubs?

If the Cubs do make it by the Dodgers they will face the winner of the Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies series. If the Cubs have a choice I'm sure they would choose Milwaukee as they have a 9 win 7 loss regular season record against the Brewer as apposed to a losing 3 wind 4 losses regular season record against the Phillies (source: espn.com). But if history holds true (and I'm sure it will), the regular season doesn't mean a thing once the play-offs begin.

One thing is for sure; the baseball fans in Chicago have not had this much to cheer about in a long time. All seems right for the Cubs to win it all.
